We want everyone, including people with disabilities, to be able to use uppu.net comfortably. This statement describes the current accessibility status of the site, the limitations we know of and how you can tell us about a problem.
1. Scope
This statement covers the Turkish and English pages of the uppu.net website. The UPPU panel (app.uppu.net) and the chat widget that businesses add to their own websites are outside its scope.
2. Our target and current status
Our target is level AA of the W3C Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2. The site was designed for this target and passes automated checks every time it is built. No independent audit has yet confirmed that the site fully meets this level, so we do not claim full conformance.
3. What we have done on the site
- Every page has a single main heading, ordered subheadings and landmarks (header, main content, footer); the first element reached with the keyboard is a "Skip to content" link.
- We designed the menus, tabs and help panel to be used with the keyboard; the focused element is marked with a visible outline.
- Text and background colors were chosen with measured contrast ratios; no text is smaller than 12 pixels, and information is never conveyed by color alone.
- Tables have captions and header cells, and images have alternative text; decorations that carry no meaning are hidden from screen readers.
- Illustrative views of the product interface are presented to screen readers as a short description instead of their details.
- If reduced motion is turned on on your device, animations do not play; animated walkthroughs that last more than a few seconds have a pause button.
- Pages can be read without JavaScript. The site uses no cookies or tracking code.
- The language of every page is declared, so screen readers read the text in the right language.
4. Known limitations
- No independent accessibility audit or regular testing with screen readers has been carried out yet.
- The UPPU panel interface is in Turkish only today; the panel labels in the product views on the English pages are therefore shown in Turkish.
- The legal documents are long and contain legal terms. Each document starts with a table of contents.
5. Tell us
If you come across an accessibility problem on the site, or would like content in another format (for example as plain text), send an email with the subject "Accessibility" to info@uppu.net. Telling us the address of the page and the device, browser and any assistive technology you use helps us find the problem faster.
6. How we evaluated
This statement was prepared on 22 October 2026. The evaluation is based on the automated checks that run every time the site is built (heading structure, alternative text, table headers, link and button names, page language and landmarks) and on an internal review of the pages in desktop and phone views. We update this statement as the site changes.
