Your number, your account
You connect your number with your own Meta account through Meta's signup flow. The WhatsApp Business account is in your name, and the UPPU team enables the channel for your workspace.
WhatsApp Business Platform (Cloud API)
Connect your own WhatsApp Business account and number through Meta's signup flow. Your team answers every conversation from one screen, with the 24-hour window and template rules in view. Messages pass through Meta's infrastructure, and our copy stays in Istanbul (details).
After you sign up, our team enables WhatsApp for your workspace: just email info@uppu.net with your company name.

Assignment routes each conversation to the right agent. Agents see customers' numbers masked, and the history stays with your company, not on staff phones.
The 24-hour window is counted by Meta's clock and shown in the conversation. Template approval statuses and a 9-item channel checklist are in the panel.

Content
What arrives and what you can send. Agents send text and files from the inbox; messages with buttons and lists, reactions, location, quoted replies and templates go from your system through the API. The status of every outgoing message shows in the conversation.
| Content | Incoming | Sent from the inbox | Sent through the API |
|---|---|---|---|
| Text | Yes | Yes | Yes |
| Images, video, audio and documents | Yes | One file per reply | Yes |
| Messages with buttons and lists | Yes | No | Yes |
| Reactions | Yes | No | Yes |
| Reply context (quotes) | Yes | No | Yes |

Sending contact cards and stickers: in a later version. Incoming media is kept for 90 days, up to 25 MB per file.
Sent, delivered and read statuses show for every outgoing message, and if Meta rejects a message you see an explanation of the error (in Turkish today).
The 24-hour window
Meta's rules decide when and how you can write to a customer on WhatsApp, and UPPU shows them on screen.
Comparison
The app can be enough for a small team replying from a phone. The difference shows once the team grows or your systems get involved.
| Topic | WhatsApp Business app | UPPU |
|---|---|---|
| Who it suits | Small teams replying from a phone | Teams working together and businesses with their own systems |
| Roles and permissions | None | Owner, Admin, Agent, Auditor |
| Assignment | None | Manual; automatic on live chat too |
| Masked numbers | None | For agents |
| Conversation history | On the device account | In your company's UPPU workspace |
| API and webhooks | None | REST API v1 and signed webhooks |
| Privacy tools | None | Retention, export, erasure and an audit log |
| Writing after 24 hours | Free-form | With an approved template (Meta's rule) |
| Cost | Free | UPPU subscription plus Meta's message fees |
| Same number on the phone app | Yes | Not today |
The table compares the two products as they are today; the app's features can change at Meta's discretion.
Official infrastructure
Tools that link a phone's WhatsApp session by QR code look easy, but WhatsApp's own terms prohibit that kind of use.
| Topic | Official platform (UPPU) | QR or session-based tools |
|---|---|---|
| How the number connects | Your own WhatsApp Business account, through Meta's signup flow | A phone's WhatsApp session is linked to a web session by scanning a QR code |
| Rules that apply | Meta's WhatsApp Business Platform terms and messaging policy | WhatsApp's Terms of Service prohibit bulk and automated messaging and automated access (1) |
| Account risk | Meta manages quality and messaging limits; you see delivery statuses in the panel | WhatsApp may restrict or disable accounts that break its terms (1) |
| Writing after 24 hours | With approved templates (utility, marketing) | No template system |
| Consent and opt-out | Consent ledger; STOP withdraws consent | Usually not built in |
| Delivery statuses | Sent, delivered, read; explanations of Meta's errors | Depends on the tool's session; no official statuses |
| Team | Roles, assignment and masked numbers | Usually a single session |
| Cost | UPPU subscription plus Meta's message fees; 1,000 free service messages per number each month | Flat-fee offers; risk of losing the number |
This is a category-level comparison; individual tools may differ.

Fees
Meta charges per delivered message, and the amount depends on the message category and the recipient's country code. We walk through the calculation step by step on the pricing page.
The inbox interface is in Turkish today. The live chat widget your visitors see speaks Turkish and English, and API error messages come in either language. Talk to us and we'll walk you through it.
Yes. UPPU runs on Meta's official WhatsApp Business Platform (Cloud API). You connect your own WhatsApp Business account and number through Meta's signup flow, and the UPPU team enables WhatsApp for your workspace. It is not the same as tools that link a phone session by scanning a QR code.
No platform can rule that out, but UPPU runs on Meta's official WhatsApp Business Platform. Meta usually restricts numbers that break its rules: unsolicited bulk messages, content people report, or low quality. In UPPU, marketing templates need a recorded consent and anyone who writes STOP has their consent withdrawn, and you see delivery statuses and explanations of Meta's errors in the panel (in Turkish today). Our comparison of the official API and QR tools sets out how unofficial tools differ.
Yes, the number and the account are yours. Today a number connected to UPPU can't be used in the WhatsApp Business app on your phone at the same time; you can also start with a new number.
WhatsApp message fees aren't included in UPPU's price; Meta charges them separately. The fee depends on the message category and the recipient's country code, and since 1 October 2026 the first 1,000 service messages per business number each month are free. We explain the calculation on the pricing page.
When a customer writes to you on WhatsApp, a 24-hour customer service window opens and you can reply freely during it with service messages. It's counted by Meta's clock from the customer's last message. Once it closes you can only write with a template Meta has approved; UPPU shows the time left above the conversation.
There is no campaign or bulk-send screen in the panel. You can send approved templates from your own system through the API, within Meta's messaging limits and consent rules; sends are limited to 20 per second per key, and marketing templates need a recorded consent. Consent duties for commercial messages, such as Türkiye's İYS registry, stay with you.
First the UPPU team enables WhatsApp for your workspace: after you sign up, just email info@uppu.net with your company name. Then you connect your number with your own Meta account in Meta's signup window. The display-name review and, for higher messaging limits, business verification are Meta's own processes, and Meta sets their timing. The channel checklist shows where each step stands.
Yes. Messages that start from those ads land in your inbox, and your team answers from the same screen. While Meta's free entry window is open, the messages in that conversation are free; Meta sets the terms, and the details are on the pricing page. You run your ads in Meta yourself; UPPU doesn't manage ads.
